Let’s make a bracket for the Yoshimura multi-temp meter.
Since there’s no face plate, I’ll hold it loosely with a circular saw and expand it to 43 mm diameter.
It’s been a while since I’ve done aluminum welding—I wonder if I can push it to the edge? Surprisingly, it worked out. The thick material really helped.
Since all we need is to secure the multi-temp meter, I’m using 5052 aluminum.
I love welding because it’s fun, but I hate how the welding helmet strap tightens around my head and gives me a headache.
By swapping out this plate, I can use it for different things in the future.

Fenderless? Well, I’m still wrestling with the license plate bracket—I’m going to modify version 1 and make version 2.
My mind is unsettled, and so are the waves.

Still thinking about it… The simple approach would be sheet bending plus welding, but maybe I should go with pipe bending plus color welding instead—it’s a bit more work, but…
