I didn’t know there were no off-the-shelf Brembo support products available.
The customer arranged this for us. SS ITO brand.
The disc step wear is severe, so I’ll do some light polishing on our end. With four surfaces, it takes more time than you’d expect.
We don’t handle this as a basic service.
We’ll replace the shaft too.
I think it’s better to keep things as clean as possible.
The brake hose will be reused. I’ll offset it slightly so it doesn’t get in the way during fluid changes.
There’s also a method using double BJBs to shift things even more.
The cylindrical shape is tricky to secure. But I think it’s important to keep in mind that using cable ties to fix parts should really be a last resort.
I also routed the turn signal ground wire inside. The wires run parallel and look clean.
The customer wanted the hose replaced too, so I measured it… it’s a #7? That’s rare.
I replaced the petcock too. There was some hair…
I replaced the switch as well.
And we’re done.
