Triumph Daytona 675R Oil, Coolant, and Fluid Change

We drain the coolant.

That subtle shine—is it residue? It’s not brown, so it’s not engine oil. Let’s check again next time. We flush the coolant passages thoroughly by running water through from the top multiple times.

It’s in pretty rough shape, so we cleaned it and replaced the cap as well.

We drilled a hole in the cap and locked it with NTK to prevent it from coming loose.

The coolant hose was held with a clamp, so we replaced it with a band. For the rest, we decided to use a plate to hold the wire in place rather than drilling holes in the bolts.
