After the ZX14 inspection and consultation, we start with a thorough check and perform Deco-mainte work.
Wrapping the cover around the wheel makes removal and installation smooth.
We always plan for the unexpected. However, sometimes that one-in-a-million thing does happen, so please don’t have unrealistic expectations.
I forgot to photograph one thing. It looks nice, but the operation is a bit stiff.
The wheel bearings are still usable, but given the mileage, replacing them wouldn’t be out of line.
The lever grease has hardened too.
Tighten the lever mounting bolt while checking how the lever operates.
The side stand was still in good shape. Disassembly and lubrication would make it even smoother.
Let’s clean the throttle too.
The shift side is direct-mounted, so there’s nothing there. The brake is Honda type. Convenient and excellent.
It hasn’t worn that much, so you can rest assured.
We replaced the fluid.
