
Let’s disassemble the front fork.

There’s a little dirt, but it’s in relatively good condition.

It’s fortunate that this fork doesn’t require cylinder disassembly, so there are fewer parts to work with.

This is the type with metal deep inside the bottom case. There’s no replacement part available.
Do we remove it once and look for a usable one elsewhere? This time we’re reusing it.

Kawasaki service data is available, so it’s helpful as a reference.
You can see the oil level dropping as the model years progress. This time we’re resetting it, so we kept the same set.
