The side stand spring hook is embedded and welded for peace of mind.
The tip is heavily discolored from heat.

I’m rebuilding the Watanabe coil bracket I made years ago.
As always, SUS304-HL. I often don’t use the Watanabe bracket’s included parts.
If I can create good space around the coil, serviceability will improve.
It’s a pointless shape. It’s a spacer that pushes the right coil slightly inward. A collar would work, but I don’t like hidden collars, so I’m making this. The edges are properly 3R.
I don’t like co-fastening additional parts. Don’t things fall off when you remove something, or get hard to hold? Mirrors aren’t removed often, but while I’m at it, let me swap the tank for an H2 unit and build a new bracket.

I debated whether to position the tank forward or back, but I went forward. It looks clean and good.
This is a tail pipe test piece. I couldn’t figure out the right amperage for tack welding, so various spots melted. Finally I confirmed 100 out of 100 hits. I’ve verified the pulse and Hz around the circumference, so I can make the tail pipe tomorrow. I’ll fabricate a left-exit pipe for when I get bored.
