We’ll continue with the work.

The grease around the levers is pretty much gone.

I’ve also disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated the throttle.

I’ll replace and install the choke wire and other missing parts.

Let’s disassemble the side stand and lubricate it too.

I’ll adjust the clearance with shims to your specifications.

There’s something inside the drive sprocket cover…

Hmm… unbelievable… absolutely incredible.

The more I look, the more issues keep showing up. It’s bent a bit.

The bearing is slightly crushed…

The bolt threads are slightly raised and protruding. I’ll surface it.

One lock nut is missing.

The chain slider bolts and spacers are also missing.

The right side looks okay, so I was relieved.

Let’s replace the spark plug. It’s pretty black though.

The spark plug wire is just inserted without being secured—an unbelievable situation. I sometimes see people remove the snap tabs on the connector and swap them out, but that’s definitely not recommended. If the wire outer diameter is matched and inserted to the proper depth, it might be okay, but…

I always think that when something is suspended with cable ties, it’s a sign of terminal neglect. I’ll make a bracket.

You can make a bracket like this in about half an hour, so it’s better to secure things safely.

I’ve secured it with a band clamp so it won’t come out physically. Other parts are on order and on hold.
