We’ve already done the prep work the other day, so now it’s just assembly.
The piston cups have shrunk and debris has accumulated. The initial soft, spongy feel will drop dramatically.
Sorry for the single-hand calipers. Since it’s brake work, don’t trust the outer diameter and length specs—verify them yourself even though they’re new.
Not only does the overhaul improve performance, but the appearance gets better too, which makes you want to take better care of it.
We gave the springs a light polish, so they’ve regained their shine.
We replaced the caliper bolts with Yamaha ones.
Both sides bled and fluid changed—Deco-mainte is complete.
Next is the Newtech oil change.
While we’re waiting for the muffler to come off.

Once it becomes used and gets dirty, handling naturally gets rougher—that’s just how it goes. It’s nice to remember where you started.
Working at this pace means we can’t handle high volume. Going forward, Decoboco is shifting toward higher quality and better content while reducing the number of jobs we take on.
