The bearings have arrived, so let’s install them and get the suspension set up. We don’t want an earthquake hitting during the year-end and New Year holidays, you know.
The bearings and seals are standard specification parts. The dimensions allowed us to use domestic OEM components. The fast distribution really helps.
After installing the frame-side race, I’ll also check the seal operation. Better to be thorough.
Let’s apply Neutech NC100 grease generously to both upper and lower.
I’ve also switched the upper and lower stem bolts to MDN.
I’m really grateful that Scuderia Okumura did the speed finishing for us.
I’ve replaced the wheel bearings (including the front this time).
Next up: rear tire replacement, linkage lubrication, and wheel bearing replacement.
