It looks like progress but it’s not really… Well, at least we got the engine to start.
Oh! The cap might be coming loose…
To verify the feeling, I measured the depth on the cap side…
I’ll mark it precisely with a marker.
Up to here, around this area—if it goes in this far, we’re good.
Drilling a pilot hole in the insertion area makes it screw in much faster.
It’s gotten a greenish patina look.
Since it’s the old mounting method, I’ll switch it over to terminals and power cable.
