Let’s replace the rear brake master.
I was thinking about it too lightly. The clearance turned out to be surprisingly tight.

Cut the existing rod, threaded a round bar with cut threads, and welded it in.

It looks pretty stock like this.

The hose outlet is thick! The angle is tricky! What should we do…

I compared dimensions with an outlet I had on hand…

Hmm, miraculous? Or rather… it’s obvious, isn’t it?
This suddenly opened up more options.

So the straight one looks like it’ll fit most neatly.

I’ll adjust it by grinding down the protrusion and thickness a bit. It wasn’t easy…
If I’d just gone with Nissin it would’ve been easier—but that’s water under the bridge now.

And this is done! I was able to install it straight.

Fabricated a mounting plate for the MOSFET regulator.
Well, same as always.

The tank was mounted sideways, which is unusual.

This

became this. The rear master took the most work, what with remade brake hose fittings and all.

After that, I changed the engine oil. The filter cover looks great since we polished it last time.

After that, a test ride and we’re done.
See you!
