The KL harness is a bit cumbersome. The MN just seems to wrap up so neatly—that’s the impression I get.
Maybe it would be better to go all MN? That question has been nagging at me.
I did a comparison with used harnesses for the first time, maybe.

I aligned and checked the reference points marked with white tape.

They overlap, but the battery area is almost identical.

The igniter area is almost identical.

Front side.
KL on the left—integrated design.
MN on the right—separated design.
The KL has a pocket around the headlight area with switch couplers inside it.
The MN has switch couplers distributed around the left and right ducts.
A small difference makes things so much cleaner.

Watch out—the headlight harness couplers are different.

This is the KL.

This is the MN.
The rear also has that separated versus integrated feel. It’s usable with just a difference in the tail lamp couplers.
With a full fairing, I think using an MN harness on a KL could work.
I’ll lay it out and think about it next time.
See you!
