The plating is back, so let’s assemble it piece by piece.

The fork oil was pretty dirty.

I’ll do a quick check before shipping.

It took about two weeks or so. It’s back, so let’s clean and inspect it.

Fork seals with the usual SKF Green.

The cylinder bolts should slide in by hand. If you use new ones, the torque will be solid and you’ll have peace of mind.

The right-side compression damper adjuster won’t go all the way in? I pried it out and removed it.

Top K, bottom MN—they look similar, but K has an oil passage at the tip. So I’ll do additional machining.

I pried and polished the tip and side, and it’s done. This is the moment I’m glad I kept that debris.

I machined the blind plug that the spring inserts and gets pressed into from brass.

After that, a little tapping and checking operation with a click, and we’re done. ( ´Д`)=3 フゥ

A little squirt, vacuum bleed, and oil level adjustment, and we’re finished.

It might be good to coat it with rust preventative oil so it doesn’t rust. All done!
