The upper side brace looks cool.
Where clips can work, we use clips.
The sides can’t use fasteners, so we used Suzuki aluminum minus bolts (part numbers vary by shank length).
Tandem step cut, please. We cut it cleanly.

On the tail cowl side, there’s one fastener on each left and right—a somewhat tricky mounting.
Since people sit on it, we want it to stay secure even with vibration.
This could work on oil-cooled cowl dampers too.
Frame threads and lock nut for locking. Excess shank length is naturally cut.

Now everything lines up perfectly. When you add color to the back side like this, maintenance becomes very difficult. I think it’s better for everyone if we avoid mounting methods that compromise serviceability.
