Carburettor OH is complete.
The BST carb really is nice, after all (though it does have some problem areas…).
If you’re going to use a CVK, the CVR is probably the best choice… it has a TPS too (getting off track).
So here we go~
When doing a carb OH, I think it’s a good idea to replace the band and throttle cable at the same time.
My favorite fuel hose is Mikuni (TMR genuine) 877-260-1207.
It’s a two-layer structure that’s sturdy and doesn’t collapse easily, and the hose is soft. It’s the real deal.
Wrapping mesh around the fuel hose makes it more resistant to chafing and looks great too!
Having various sizes on hand means you can use them on harnesses and hose coverings as well.
The plug was looking a bit worn out too.
For street use, we’ve installed a JR8B.
