This is a bunch of small jobs.
The tank mole was out of stock at our shop, so we couldn’t finish it (；∀；)
We really need to get our inventory management together better…
It was subtly bent, so we replaced it.
It’s Honda’s usual rubber. At around 80 to 100 yen, your shift touch is expected to improve by about 0.35% (by our measurements).
For those of you running this factory-specified tank mole, it’s a bit iffy.
You have to secure it with adhesive or double-sided tape, which seems like a design flaw to me.
We’ve covered the Suzuki factory mole in a previous blog post, so we’re swapping it out for that one.
When it falls over, there’s definitely a lot of gap on the left side…
We corrected it like this. By correction, I mean we stared at it intently, clamped it in a vise, and tapped it with a plastic hammer… that sort of thing.
Unfortunately, everyone, part number 34810-40C00 fuel gauge assembly appears to be discontinued…
