Sidestand correction and Shell Advance Ultra 10W-40 oil change.
Hmm, a pretty impressive sidestand stopper is installed.
It’s troublesome, heavy, and bends easily, so problems tend to crop up.
When the swingarm strokes, the sidestand contacts the reinforcement brace, so I’ll make a stopper.
The stopper is just this.
It’s just a piece of 5mm steel plate cut out and chamfered.
Welding it to the stand side should keep it simple and lightweight.
That’s how I did three-sided welding (‘ω’)ノ
As a bonus, the U-shape becomes harder to open. Hmm, that’s a nice perk!
I stripped all the paint and coated it with gun coat.
When small parts look nice, assembly gets even more exciting.
I tucked the stand in as much as possible (‘◇’)ゞ
Engine oil has been changed to Shell Advance Ultra 10W-40.
After that, the inspection will be complete (‘ω’)ノ
Completion will be Wednesday or Thursday!
