A lot of places still take reservations and takeout orders by phone, right?
I wonder if they don’t run into trouble with mishearing or handling the rush…
They probably want to listen with their ears, write with their hands, and connect with customers that way… probably.
I recently discovered it. A soba shop in Toritsu-daigaku.
You can order online, pay by card, and they accept orders from 700 yen and up. And shipping is free!
They have an insane amount of menu items, which is really great.
My recent favorites are “Chilled Tanuki Soba” and “Half Fried Rice” (*’ω’*)
