Yesterday I was troubled by that characteristic old-bike vibration with a high-pitched whine… (；∀；)
I’ve test-ridden it so many times…
I tried adding weights and various other things, but they weren’t very effective.
In the end, when I wrapped two bands like those used on Kawasaki H2s and pressed them against the bracket, lo and behold—it was quite a bit better! It might be a subtle but worthwhile recommendation.
Now let’s get into maintenance. The tires were still in fresh condition.
Once the current pad wear is gone, we’ll need a disc replacement.
I opened the fork caps to ventilate, clean, lubricate, and apply rust protection.
The chain is still in good shape.
The wheel runout looks fine too.
The axle shaft was also in good condition.
The wheel bearings were in good condition too.
The caliper condition was so-so. It might be worth doing an OH (overhaul) when the time comes.
Let’s lubricate the throttle cable too (‘ω’)ノ
I’ve lubricated the control systems too.
I replaced the fluid with Golden Cruiser DOT4.
The customer had someone help them out the other day, so I replaced it right away (free of charge).
I’m using Shell Advance 15W-50 for the engine oil.
The customer requested that I replace the rear cowl molding.
It’s really hard to install and I don’t like using chemical adhesive, so I went with my usual molding instead.
Now back to the dashcam. I need to make sure it’s okay when turning the handlebars left and right… and that the upper cowl comes off easily…
Otherwise you’ll have a bad time, so I’m being extra careful.

To put it simply, it’s a high-end gel tubing type.
It’s also sold on Monotaro.
Inside this are the front camera, GPS, and hand control switch wires.
If you’re not particular about it, using gel tubing is a good option (*^-^*)
FLR-40, 1 roll (1 meter) This is a braided tubing with a peel-off backing.
Sometimes connectors and wiring get messy and annoying, right? You can hide them neatly and easily, so it’s quite effective.
The downside is that it’s somewhat pricey.
When you buy the D-UNIT+, always replace the fuse.
Usually one breaks just from pulling it out… Be careful.
