Prices always go up and down.
Whether something has value or not is something humans decide on their own…
Supply and demand balance. Maybe the bubble prices and rarity are created by increased demand and a decrease in available inventory (´-`).。oO
The declining number of vintage motorcycle units.
After all, these are used bikes that are decades old, so the number available worldwide is limited.
Basically, the number of units in existence worldwide can only decrease, never increase. (Rarity up)
Not everyone who wants one is looking to ride it.
Most people buy motorcycles from shops.
If the shop sourcing these vintage bikes sees demand for them and can get good prices, they naturally want them too.
Customer demand directly drives shop demand, keeping it constantly high.
High rarity creates status value and accelerates the momentum.
Seeing a vintage bike owned by a celebrity makes you think, “Wow, it really is something special…”
Someday… once in a lifetime… eventually… it gets added to the bucket list of bikes you want to ride.
When you do the math on how much riding time you have left, it becomes “Now or never!” (*・・)σ【】click!
Prices could keep rising forever. That’s a different story from having buyers…
Whether it’s real estate, cars, money, or diamonds, humans decide the value.
I think there’s a perception that reliable demand equals a safe asset. But with motorcycles, it becomes somewhat limited. Sometimes I think this bubble feeling might start to settle down soon.

If you don’t buy now, you’ll miss the boat… especially with bikes… it adds even more fuel to the fire.
As long as you’re satisfied with your decision, that’s a win. (*’ω’*)
Whether a price is high or low might just be how we perceive it against the market.
If you have the means and want it now, paying more could actually save you time.
It also means you’re buying the chance to do something only possible right now.
If you ride it, enjoy it, and sell it for a decent return, that’s good investing. But if you’re thinking of buying it, sitting on it, and making a quick killing, that’s speculation and carries higher risk.
As long as everything works out to your satisfaction, that’s a win. But I find myself thinking we should all stay calm and think it through.
