I first got to know Daytona back in high school.
They had compatibility parts catalogs organized by scooter model, and I’d get excited and pour my part-time job earnings into them.
I’d install intake chambers, high-speed pulleys, exhaust chambers, and all sorts of things.
Back then I thought more was always better, so the results didn’t match my expectations.
Balance is what matters (*´▽｀*)
Anyway, I’m not the only one who thinks Daytona’s recent parts lineup has been amazing. In a way, when you’re stuck deciding, Daytona is a solid choice. (Depending on the part, of course.)
Let me go through some of Daytona’s tried-and-true series.
This part is so convenient I hate working on electrical systems without it.
No more hassle with power and ground sourcing or worrying about fuse layouts.
Electro-taps and powered fuses are a thing of the past. Whenever you’re thinking about tweaking the electrical system, just use this and you’re golden.
The cover does crack easily though…

I’ve gone through so many different turn signal relays over the years…
In terms of size, shape, connections, and price, it’s all fantastic. Most of the time it’s just a simple swap-in, which is amazing.
By the way, it supports up to 100W, so within capacity it can handle hazard lights too.
It’s like going from a flip phone to a smartphone in terms of convenience (*’ω’*)
Aftermarket USB has come this far… I’ll set aside the Qi charging crowd for now…
It’s gotten really compact, so layout issues are a thing of the past.
Not too long ago I thought the slender USB was pretty good, but it works with both 22.2 and 25.4 mm handlebars and ends up with a sad finish of “adjustment rubber pads?”
I think this USB-C will be the recommended standard setup for a while to come (*´▽｀*)

I bought it right away! The feel, angle, length, and price are all just right. It actually works great when you lay it out. Better than some cheap knockoff—this one’s solid. The handlebar area looks much cleaner now.
Looking back, I realize I only covered electrical stuff… I’ll post about other things too.
