Super beautiful chromoly shaft
BITO R&D made (for GSF1200). It won’t fit directly, so you might be tempted to click buy… but you shouldn’t.

So, the top is the Inazuma 1200 and the bottom is the GSF1200 (BITO R&D).
To be precise, the fork span is 200mm (GSF1200) and 205mm (Inazuma 1200), so the shaft is 2.5mm shorter on each side—it goes in a bit.
However, the wrench grips firmly, so we’ve confirmed there’s no problem.
The GSF1200 and others use a stepped shaft.
The Inazuma 1200 uses a sleeve to make it stepped.
By swapping the shaft…

780g to 420g…
Wow, that’s a dramatic change. It’s about the weight of one plastic bottle, so that’s significant.
The Inazuma 1200 is the odd one out among the oil-cooled 1200 series—it’s such a pain.
The front axle diameter is 20φ, which is common, but only the threaded part is one step thinner…
It definitely looks like it’s borrowed from something else.
The Inazuma 1200 bottom case needs to be machined to M20-P1.5.
We took it to the machine shop and it was done in seconds.
The fork assembly is complete, and the shaft slides in smoothly by hand—it feels really good.

It’s just plain dirty, so I really wish people would stop doing it ( ﾟДﾟ)
Rather than lubing those spots, if you’d properly lubricate the areas that move and rub, everyone would be happy.
That’s how it becomes noticeably lighter and the quality improves.
