Now I’ve removed the caliper. All the basic parts are common. Nice, isn’t it? (*’▽’)
The boot is swollen and has super friction.
Just this alone should bring it back to life quite a bit.
Disassembling smoothly.
Single-piston calipers are nice for serviceability, aren’t they? (*´ω｀*)
When caliper pistons rust, it transfers to the body too, so be careful.
The corrosion is deep, so I think replacement with a repro is better.
I’ve just done the prep work for now.
