The step base threads are fixed, so I’m going to pull the base back into place with some force.
You can’t just yank the step bar with force like that.
Something in front of the base will definitely bend.
As shown in the image, I’m bolting a turned aluminum rod to the beefy aluminum base
and moving it with an inner tube.
It’s 100% brute force, but there’s no other way.
Fluid exchanged in four locations and we’re done. Three calipers and one clutch.
Tomorrow we take it in for inspection and that’s the end of it (*^-^*)
