The biggest benefit is never needing to change clutch fluid again (laugh)
That’s huge for me personally. You don’t need a clutch release overhaul either.
With a wire, the release becomes mechanical, so you just disassemble and lubricate and you’re done.

The one I bought
is leftover from when I was thinking of using it for a project like “from KZ frame back in the day” or something.
This boss comes with 28/30 mm, but… I can’t find the 30 mm…
Just think of it roughly as: smaller numbers = lighter, bigger numbers = heavier.

The Inazuma has a terrible slide switch (what era is this from…?) so it’s unusable.
You can get by without a clutch switch, but…

Normal wire clutches basically only let you adjust the wire play.
You adjust far or close within the range you can cut, and the rest is just getting used to it!
Depending on position, the dead stroke is extremely small .
If you set a wire clutch to engage close, doesn’t the lever play get all sloppy?
