various things with Makita… or rather, I had some homework deadlines to meet, so I put it on hold.

I rejuvenated a heavily aged bottom case by about 20 years.
From here, I’ll have the craftsman work his magic.

I just went ahead and requested it be cut off. A racer doesn’t need unnecessary bosses.
This is the condition it came out of machining. If left as is, it would have uneven color, so I’ll polish it again.

There’s quite a difference between the actual part and the monitor… Today it’s headed off to get painted.
