Clean the chain and then lubricate it with two types of chain lube.
·First with a thin one to penetrate deep. Wipe off
·Then with one that doesn’t fly off as much for coating protection

The wires and coil assembly from that era might be worth replacing too.
I reused the fuses.
If you sort bolts when you remove themyou reduce the time spent “searching” and “losing” themand it’s more efficient.
Storage during work is also easier.
The same goes for covers when removing wheels.
With small things like this, you can raise the“everyday standard”to a higher level.
