Exactly the “COOLER SHOCK” ice pack applying medical technology—perfect for the upcoming season? Watch out for stock shortages??

Cooler Shock Ice Pack
Single Item S Size Reusable Maintains -7.8°C

At a roadside station, I can’t buy “eggs” and take them home…
Have you ever had that experience?

The other day I thought deeply about this problem.
Light total weight, long-lasting cooling, doesn’t take up much storage space, and can be reused

First step: choosing an ice pack.
It seems there are various famous items out there these days…

【Ice pack applying technology developed for medical use
COOLER SHOCK】

COOLER SHOCK was born by applying technology
developed for blood transport in the medical field.

Blood transport requires maintaining a specified temperature for long periods and
ensuring blood components don’t change.

The package consists of three layers: aluminum with excellent thermal conductivity and polyethylene and nylon with excellent rigidity, with a thickness of just about 0.2mm. This efficiently releases the cold temperature inside to the outside.

Cooler Shock is designed as an ice pack that maintains -7.8°C for long periods.
Both ice and ice packs including COOLER SHOCK start at the freezer temperature (0 to -12.2°C) and warm up once removed from the freezer.

Ice warms up quickly, reaches 0°C, and eventually melts, but
Cooler Shock is designed to maintain -7.8°C, so the cooling effect inside the cooler box is also maintained for long periods.
*Amazon introduction quote

Compared to ice, COOLER SHOCK requires less quantity for the same cooling power, so the weight of the cooler box is reduced and space efficiency is improved.
Also, when you get home, you just put it back in the freezer, so cleanup is easier too.

The claims and background are highly credible

Since you can’t know until you buy and use it, I decided to give it a try right away.

I recommend getting multiple S sizes (*´▽`*)

I initially bought 2, but needed more, so I added more for a total of 4 which I’m currently using.

Getting started is a bit of a hassle (you add water in a specified amount)

This part feels a bit tedious. For the S size, you need to add 355ML.
It doesn’t need to be super precise.

Add water → screw on the included cap → shake well

I messed up the first one (though it still works). To get 100% performance,
the right amount and thorough mixing are important

It takes surprisingly long for the water to gel, so shake it thoroughly.
Otherwise, you’ll end up with powdery unmixed spots in the corners, reducing the gel volume and losing precious cooling power (;∀;)

Finally, screw the cap on tightly
and into the freezer we go!!

My impression from using it is “it barely melts at all.”
After 7.5 hours in direct sunlight over 20°C on a truck bed,
it was still half frozen.

While the performance varies depending on the bag, usage, and conditions,
if used properly, the performance is quite impressive.

Perfect for the upcoming outdoor recreation season?

My use case is simple—I just want to buy fresh items somewhere and bring them home—but for the upcoming outdoor recreation season, this seems like it would be perfect.

Why not pick one up before they sell out?

(‘;’) This cooling power is amazing~♪ Hurry before they’re gone~
