Lately my iPhone camera seems to be acting up…
Is it because I use it too much every day?
The CB1100SC65 is also in its final chapter.
It’s thought to be the last air-cooled four-cylinder machine.
If motorcycle popularity continues, prices will definitely skyrocket, right?
Today I’ll quickly move forward with the drive recorder installation.
Lately we’ve been really limiting our appointments…
Yet our workload keeps increasing.
It’s quite the problem.

As you get older,
you become fascinated with spoke wheels (*´ω`*)
Ah, so cool.
The hub is really solid and beefy too.
Could this possibly be tubeless?

As expected, it had a tube inside (*´ω`*)
I was somewhat relieved.
As I’ve mentioned many times,
the Honda parts list allows you to download and view even quite new models
You can research and enjoy finding parts that make you go “Oh!”

A classic product “EDR-21α” *No GPS
It’s a very simple and easy-to-use model.

Lately I’ve been using a test D-UNIT like this
to check for camera reflections.
After installation, “Oh no, something’s reflecting” hasn’t happened at all.
Since we can push the installation to the limit, it’s very effective.

The mounting location is determined by process of elimination.
The more specialized you get, the cooler it looks, but the worse the serviceability becomes.
Balance is extremely important.

After deliberation, I decided on the “poking out from between the horns” strategy.
So I drilled a hole in the cover.

Bracket fabrication.
When the paint chips, I spot-weld it so you can’t tell what it is.
*For improved workability.

The front location is now decided.

For the rear, there are few options, so I’m going with the usual
“license plate co-fastening” strategy.
The nuts are spot-welded, so be careful.

For now, I’ve painted it with Gun Coat “Flat Black” for protection.

“D-UNIT+” was brought to us, but “D-UNIT WR” is what we’ll use.
*You can swap it with the D-UNIT+.
Recent bikes really have very little space.
Even the D-UNIT+ is a tight fit.
This “D-UNIT WR” is ultra-compact, so it’s perfect for modern bikes!
For bikes with limited space, this is the only choice.

For the aftermarket parts, I’ll change the connection side to a 110-series connector.
This time, due to space constraints, I’ll co-fasten it to the battery terminal,
but I’ve made it so it can be easily disconnected with a connector.
This kind of work pays off gradually over time.

The layout is mostly complete.
I’m tired, so I’ll call it a day for now ( ;∀;)
