Japanese Say 「YAWAI?」 Yawai = soft and squishy (*´ω｀*)
When it falls, pretty much the entire base“easily”bends. Most of them are bent.
I’ll prepare and finish it “reasonably well.”
If I do it too seriouslyand the base “breaks off,”it won’t make sense and creates more work. I decided it’s better to do it reasonably well within what’s possible.
Before fixing it, I’ll clean the threadsand offer a “prayer for success.”
Plate to collar to inner tube bending bombardment
The plate I had prepared for another model didn’t work. I’ll use some aluminum sheet I have on hand as the base.
When the inner tube is extended, I really feel like it’s bent.
I repeat pulling and removing, then attaching the step.
Time passes… Since the plate and bar are pretty much sloppy to begin with, I’ll stop at “reasonably well.” I think it’s improved quite a bit.
Let’s prepare for inspection
The license plate light wasn’t lighting up, so I checked it. The connector was reversed. It lit up fine (*´ω｀*)
CO is just under 7%, which is pretty strict… After adjusting the PS, it dropped to around 2%.
I have a feeling that emission testing with carburetors will get tougher year by year. It seems like shops without an exhaust gas tester will have a hard time with inspections in the future.
Now we just need to pass inspection and we’re done (´ー｀)
