The Oil-Cooled Inazuma 1200’s Room for Growth is “Insane!” Inspection, Yoshimura ST-1 Cam, Fork Oil Change, Initial Adjuster, Oil Change, Rear Master Cylinder Replacement

After owning one, I realized…
the Inazuma 1200 has this image of being way too toned down. But actually?

it’s a bike that can unleash hidden power. *Though it does cost money…

So, with much anticipation, I’m installing the Yoshimura ST-1 Cam.

Boosting the potential of the oil-cooled 1200 with the long-awaited Yoshimura cam!

Depending on stock availability, this is a part that’s hard to get your hands on.
We’ve got only 1 unit left in stock (already reserved) = out of stock.

Since most people won’t buy it twice… we’re going to stop stocking it and arrange it as needed going forward.

I’m not sure if it’ll become a custom ground cam in the future, but
“the current oil-cooled Yoshimura cam pricing is divine!” *It hasn’t changed much from decades ago.

If you think about it, now’s the time! Grabbing one as a backup stock is also a good idea.

Rocker arms are like a married couple—it’s best to replace them together.

As a Repro proposal, we’d suggest
“Performance Parts” like “RK-type Lightweight Rocker Arms”
—they seem to have broad appeal for both race users and street users (*´ω｀*).

But setting aside such dreams, we’ll be using the stock rocker arms.

We use both aluminum and copper for the oil lines depending on the application.

For areas where we want a tight seal and no leaks, we use copper.
This is just my preference, but “I don’t use the stock aluminum for this oil line section.” That’s how I do it.

It’s just an impression, but aluminum seems to get tired and weep a bit over time.
If you seal it up tight with copper, it should stay clean all the time.

Things are progressing smoothly.
We’ve had a few visitors, but doing cam replacement work two days in a row has made us pretty practiced at it.

We quickly adjusted the valve timing and got the cover back on.
Now we’ll give it a good crank and fire up the engine!
