You normally pull it out with a puller, but
“since the other end is M10 and thin, it’s better not to apply too much force” .
If you apply moderate tension and warm it up with a heat gun while letting it sit,
“it’ll pop out on its own!” A heat gun is better than fire because it won’t overdo it.

Pretty old specs. It’s been over a decade… I understand why I’m getting old too.
Laying out the spark plug cord loosely improves workability.
Back then it was tight! That was good.

Back then, it wasn’t designed with terminal connections like today.
It seems they used spade terminals for connections.
It’s heartbreaking to see the white areas thinned down with a belt sander.
Even with clean ones, proper conductivity? might be the case.

Time flows on… and I’ve swapped out the cord and we’re done.
The Watanabe cord connector terminal is subtly long and takes some effort to route.
It needs to be as straight as possible.
PAMS’ connector “can bend the cord right after it comes out of the coil”
For now, I think it’s the strongest? in my opinion.
From a technician’s perspective, so you don’t need to worry too much about it.


Lately I’ve been routing the cord forward with a loose layout.
It has a gentle curve and looks beautiful.
It also subtly improves workability when maintaining the plugs or removing the coil.
