Motorcycle to Load: SUZUKI GS1000S (Large Displacement, Air-Cooled 4-Cylinder)
Loading Conditions:Removal of the upper cowl is necessary (because the screen and other parts interfere with the ceiling).
Practicality:
The high ceiling provides plenty of workspace inside the vehicle.
American-style motorcycles won’t fit due to overall length.
It’s more maneuverable than a Hiace and cheaper to maintain, making it ideal for weekend mechanics.
It’s been about a year now using the TownAce Van as a transporter… Time flies. Vans really are great.
If you only think about loading and unloading, a truck would work,but it’s weak against bad weather and security concerns. So far, I haven’t had any problems, which is a relief. American-style bikes are completely out of the question… absolutely.
