With just the ST-1 and a stock carb on the oil-cooled 1200, it really runs beautifully.

Forced-induction FCR/TMR carbs are overkill,
and for those who just want a slight boost over the current easy-to-manage stock carb setup, this is a fantastic part.
The power delivery is smooth from low to high RPM, and the tachometer and speed feel synchronized.
*With the standard cam, the engine spins but the bike doesn’t seem to accelerate as much.

The cam and rocker arm are like a married couple, so it’s best to replace them together.
The cam chain slider on the front can be removed during cam replacement.

Cam replacement isn’t a special job

Without some handy tools it can be a bit tedious, but basically it’s just a matter of replacing and adjusting.
The cam sprocket’s elongated hole is the only part that’s a bit annoying.

Just ask your local shop. Can you do cam replacements? That’s all.
