When you try to use a racing stand on a round pipe swing arm, it’s a bit unstable, right? With an L-shaped stand attachment, you worry it might slip off.
That’s when Daytona released this wonderful product. Originally it’s a dedicated attachment for Daytona racing stands, but if the dimensions match, you can use it on other stands. *This is up to your own judgment, so please think carefully before using it.
I’ll write down the dimensions for your reference.
J-TRIP approximately 21.1mm Daytona approximately 20.5mm
Just use this as a rough reference. We regularly use a J-TRIP racing stand. Dimensionally, the Daytona is slightly smaller so there’s a bit of play, but it’s still usable.
Since these dimensions vary by manufacturer, please check before deciding.
The shape is exceptionally excellent – it absolutely won’t slip off! Peace of mind and safety
This shape is truly amazing. Even with round pipes or plate-shaped ends, it won’t slip and fall off.
With an L-shaped attachment, you don’t want to drop it, so you insert the attachment as deep as possible, but then it interferes with the sprocket nut and the wheel won’t turn – haven’t you experienced that?
With this shape, there’s no way it will slip off, so it’s truly the best.
I’m currently considering modifying this to use on a frame stand too.
The stand sometimes contacts the muffler, right?
This attachment is offset so solidly that it even avoids low mufflers. I haven’t tested it, but you could confidently use it on bikes like the SR 400.
For bikes with round pipe swing arms, this attachment is the only choice.
Like this, you can lift up with confidence and there’s absolutely no worry about slipping off.
Also, the rubber contact pad is bonded, so it won’t move around. And it’s made of quite hard material, so it won’t tear easily. You don’t have to worry about scratching the swing arm either.
By the way, the L-shaped attachment is also amazing
Most importantly, the rubber part is completely bonded and incredibly thick. Even with pretty hard use, I don’t think it will wear out.

To use a racing stand reliably and safely, choosing a trustworthy attachment is the way to go. It’s amazing that such wonderful items are so readily available!
