Summer break is just around the corner! Air-conditioned jacket content while it’s still relevant.
Once the heat passes, people forget about air-conditioned jackets. That’s where we are now.
In the end, I’ve bought about 6 air-conditioned jackets so far. I even thought about making a custom one at some point.
*I probably would have failed, so I gave up.
Ultimately, you can’t tell if something is good or bad without comparing various options.
I think they’re quite a difficult product to evaluate.
First, you’d choose from 3 types: “short sleeve, long sleeve, or vest.”
That said, the difference in feel is something you can’t understand until you actually try it.
Plus, personal preferences vary, so it’s very difficult.
By the way, trying on in an air-conditioned room versus wearing it in the heat feels completely different.
It would be great if you could try it on in the actual environment where you’ll use it.

Top 3 “air-conditioned jackets” that survived after testing 6

Of all the ones I’ve bought, this is the most decent-looking air-conditioned jacket.
The Burtle fan fits directly into it, and the battery fits perfectly in the inner pocket, which is very helpful.
This jacket has excellent design, so it would be perfect for outdoor activities or outdoor events.
However, since it’s 100% polyester, it gets very sweaty.
You could think of it like wearing a thin raincoat.
The long sleeve air outlet is at the neck and cuffs.
You can adjust the airflow around your hands by tightening the cuffs.
This is what it looks like with Burtle’s 19-volt airflow.
Left is weakest, right is strongest. It puffs up more than expected.
Since the garment doesn’t cling to your body, the heat feels less intense.
However, compared to cotton-based air-conditioned jackets, it still feels like a raincoat.
The fabric is also thin, so it’s not suitable for work.
I tried doing grass cutting in this, but it wasn’t really practical for work.
Completely, it’s more of a street wear air-conditioned jacket that I keep.

TioTio Premium SKITTO WSP Air-Conditioned Jacket Vest
It’s somewhat designed for women, like a soft work garment air-conditioned jacket.
Design-wise, it has a somewhat acceptable silhouette, and I don’t secretly dislike it.
This product also allows Burtle fans and batteries to be used directly, which is very helpful.
Since it’s a vest type, air escapes from the armpits and neck, but the armpit tightening is somewhat loose, so air leaks out.
What I’m trying to say is
air-conditioned jackets feel cooler when you tighten the air you’ve sent inside before releasing it.
You might think, “Just turn up the battery setting!”
But then the fan gets noisy.
A quieter fan is definitely better.
Left is weakest, right is strongest.
You can tell how much air is leaking by how much it puffs up.
I keep this air-conditioned jacket because I somewhat like the design, but I barely use it (*´ω｀*)
It’s completely an indoor-use impression.

Reliable Burtle! Design is… THE work wear
Burtle’s performance is excellent. However, the design is very much THE work wear.
I chose a cotton model with short sleeves because that was the only option available.
The crisp feel of cotton is very nice,
and the coolness from the armpits and upper arms that comes with short sleeves feels wonderful.
Usually, I wear a cool-touch long sleeve undershirt underneath and use this as my main layer.
However, no matter how you look at it, it looks like a construction site worker, which I can’t quite get used to,
and while I’m looking for something with better design, I just can’t find it.
Left is weakest, right is strongest.
When cotton is mixed in, the fabric is somewhat sturdier, so it doesn’t puff up as much.
The cool areas are the neck, face, armpits, and upper arms, and I basically love short sleeves.
If you’re someone who rolls up your sleeves even when wearing long sleeves, I’d recommend choosing short sleeves.

From experience, you can’t know until you wear it and use it
This is mostly subjective, but in my case, I almost never choose a vest.
1st place: short sleeve
2nd place: long sleeve
3rd place: vest
That’s how it goes.
The merit of short sleeves is that the armpits and upper arms stay cool. The fact that the arms don’t puff up because they’re short sleeves is important.
It makes sense that construction workers wear more vests than short sleeves.
Long sleeves are very comfortable if you’re not doing any work.
The merit of having the entire arm, including the armpits, stay cool is great.
However, if you’re going to do some work, it might feel a bit cumbersome.
Vests have all the arm area free, so they’re very convenient for work.
The appearance is also clean and not stuffy-looking, which is good.
The vest might actually be the most versatile option.
Regarding the battery and fan, I use Burtle’s for everything.
Most importantly, the fan is very easy to attach and detach.
The fan’s DC plug has a lock, so it won’t come off unexpectedly.
The fan itself can be washed directly.
Just having easy fan maintenance makes a huge difference.
The fan gets surprisingly dirty in just one day, so
if you’re someone who wants to wash it every day, you need to keep this point in mind.
It’s clear that Burtle, which is widely used by construction workers, has superior durability and convenience in many ways.
High market penetration is an advantage.
