The handlebar is now quite a bit higher. The throttle cable and brake hose no longer reach, so first I’ll fabricate the brake hose.
Goodridge products have gotten expensive, so I spent about 2 hours thinking hard about it ( ゚Д゚)
When I thought about how many more bikes I’d be making in the future, I decided to just go with the same approach as before.
40,900 yen before tax (parts cost) Plus labor on top of that… It’s more expensive than a cheap brake master. (* ̄▽ ̄)フフフッ♪
So I’m going to lay it out as carefully as possible with “soul”
For parts like this, I like to secure them firmly. Thinking about serviceability, it’s good to set it up so you can attach and detach it with just one tool. (*´ω`*)
For the brake hose, determine the length with the suspension fully extended. The fork “strokes and the handlebar turns left and right.”
That’s why things sold off-the-shelf can’t just be installed.
The layout is now complete like this (*´ω`*)
What’s good about using TEE fittings? Since they have lugs, you can install them cleanly. Since it’s made from three hoses, in the future when you change the master or handlebar, you can reuse it by making just one hose new or shortening it.
In other words, once you buy it, you can reuse it and it’s flexible you know. I managed to make some quiet progress today too (*´ω`*)
