Ancestors TDM850? MT09 TRACER900GT Inspection and Maintenance

Currently, inspection and maintenance (Deco-mainte) has been removed from the menu.
We’re planning a renewal, but it hasn’t progressed at all.

Basically, keeping things running, fluids, and brakes in good shape is enough I think (*´ω｀*)

Removing the fairings is a hassle. In times like that, I check my own YOUTUBE

To reach the spark plug, you have to remove quite a few things.
This might actually be on the easier side.
Protection and cleaning—that’s the name of the game.

The spark plugs were prepared for us (*´ω｀*)
The part numbers on recent plugs are unfamiliar to me～

Recent spark plugs are clean and look good, don’t they?

The air filter was clean, so we reused it.

Now let’s clean the brake calipers

The piston movement is good, but a little rust has started to form.
I cleaned it up nicely for you.

The brake fluid is Golden Cruiser DOT4

It was in nice condition.
The front is making a squeaky sound, so I’ve added a float.

Now let’s change the coolant (*´ω｀*)

It’s safe to change it about once every two years.
It often ends up depleted more than you’d expect, so check it regularly.

I charged the battery and lubricated the control systems from the outside.
Now it’s just a test ride and we’re done～
