My First Projector for Beginners: XGII HORIZON PRO – “I Decided on This!” – Tried It Out.

So, what’s a projector really like?
By the way, we don’t have a TV at home.

Our household has been living without a TV for over 10 years now.

Back then, we couldn’t keep up with the digital TV transition wave, so the TV was removed.
Honestly, once it was gone, I stopped watching it anyway, so there was no real need for it.

But“there are so many movies and foreign dramas I want to watch.”

A computer monitor has “its limits,” and I’m not motivated enough to buy a large monitor or TV just for that. Actually, I don’t feel like watching that much.

Maybe… a projector could be convenient?

When I visited “Tsutaya Appliances,” I thought “wow, it projects so clearly.” Seeing it in person really made me feel that way.

I was scared to buy one outright, so I decided to rent first.
“It’s 9,350 yen including round-trip shipping.”Testing it out for this price is definitely worth it.

I was amazed at how high the performance is (´∀｀*) hehe

So I decided to write down my impressions.

Fast startup*For people who unplug the AC adapter, it takes a bit longer.
Definitely more “eye-friendly” than a monitor

Minimum 0.79m“You can enjoy it even in small rooms”
3.99m“Maximum, of course, works in large rooms too”
“2200 lumens”is super bright. Of course,“brightness adjustment”is also possible.
For typical use, there are no issues. Extremely bright daytime is impossible, of course.
In home lighting at night, there’s basically no problem.
Even with angled installation, it projects “square”From settings,“automatic keystone correction”
*In other words, rather than facing forward,“you can place it in a room corner and project it square,”so placement isn’t an issue
*However, if you project at too much of an angle,“the far side becomes slightly darker.”
With digital zoom, you can “zoom in a little,”which is nice.
If you’re not watching in 4K, “HORIZON’s HD is enough”to enjoy. ← If I were to purchase
Since it has a built-in speaker, it’s simple
The design is simple and very beautiful

Points of concern and wishes

You need to buy 2 AA batteries *AA or app would have been fine too.
To initially view NETFLIX, you need to delete the app once andinstall “DESKTOP MANAGER”then reinstall NETFLIX. (This lets you watch without using a stick device)
I would have enjoyed it more if a zoom lens could be added as an option. *I’d be happy if I could change the size regardless of placement position
The AC adapter is huge! Heavy!

Basically, there’s nothing I think is bad about it – it’s a wonderful item you can enjoy right away.
*The NETFLIX setup was frustrating though…..

First of all, the design is“simple and very beautiful.”
No matter where you place it, the design is perfect and doesn’t stand out.

Of course, with the built-in speaker, I’m very grateful.

The accessories are very simple.
There’s minimal waste, which is great (´∀｀*) hehe
The manual seems to be an older version? There are some discrepancies between the content and the description, which is a bit unclear.

2 AA batteries are essential *Not included

Most homes have AA batteries, but AA… not so much…..
I actually had to run to the convenience store ( ；∀；)

Projecting onto an embossed wall with “4K” looks incredibly clear~

I was amazed that it could project so clearly and sharply….
In reality, it’s even more beautiful. I think most people would be surprised.
I can feel the progress of the times

With lights off for theater effect, it’s “even brighter.”
*Even at the lowest setting, it’s more than sufficient, actually more than enough

This depends on “distance and personal preference,”so I can’t say for sure, but it’s more than bright enough.
The image is “visible and clear,”so I don’t think you’ll have any problems.

The optional stand is too stylish

By “loosening the dial lock” at the bottom,it swivels freely.
The head is spherical, allowing for flexible adjustment. It’s super easy to use and the design is perfect.
