Unfortunately, it’s incredibly good… I literally can’t work without one anymore…
The problem of losing floor space when you install a lift.
Without this lift, we could fit eight bikes in just this back area.
But
by installing the lift, we’re down to five or six bikes’ worth of space.
Floor space is incredibly valuable, so I’ve been putting up with it until now.
Space decreases, but work burden decreases ( *´艸｀)
It’s all about priorities.
Work becomes incredibly efficient, and the physical strain drops dramatically.
Plus, your range of inspection expands, which I think leads to better results.
You can work sitting down ( *´艸｀)
Sitting on the ground versus on a lift—there’s no comparison. I can’t even begin to describe the difference…
It’s so much easier that you think, “Wow… this is so comfortable…”
If you’re planning to keep doing this job for a while longer, you should definitely install one.
I want you to install one even if it means getting rid of stuff in the shop
I also didn’t want to install it because I felt the space was wasted.
This lift was a gift, and it’s actually been sitting in the shop for ten years or so… Actually…
I was so swamped with work that I didn’t even think about it, and I just ignored it for ten years.
Lately, I’m not taking any new jobs, and I don’t answer the phone 100% of the time, so I can work very comfortably.
I’m finally able to tackle things I couldn’t do before.
This year I feel incredibly uplifted.
I’m getting a bit off track here, but I think motorcycle shops often get buried in the daily grind and end up unable to do what they want, with poor efficiency, year after year.
Sometimes you need to stop and think, “What’s really going on?” and consider your surroundings.
I’m convinced that improvement always leads to good results (*^-^*)
