We don’t remember where we removed them from either, honestly…
In normal condition, the protrusion should be the same across the board.
Just try putting them in!(*´з`)
If they’re sticking way out or sunk way in, you’ve got it wrong.
If you’re not confident at first, just check the protrusion when you remove them.
This applies whether it’s an engine cover or a crankcase.
Just knowing this one thing really cuts down on work mistakes, I’d say(*´з`)
