The OHLINS rear suspension is back from Scuderia Okumura, so let’s get it installed quickly!
It came back incredibly clean.
I wonder how they get it this clean… it’s really amazing.
Not just inside but the appearance is refined too, isn’t it?
It’s beautiful enough to withstand close-up photography. I’m a fan of the α7 IV ILCE-7M4.
I’ll protect it to increase peace of mind.

While cleaning, I noticed a problem… I’d been thinking this GSX-R smells like gasoline from the start. And there’s gasoline seeping around the frame and linkage areas too.
It’s seeping enough to pool, so I’ll check it out.
I figured it was probably around the fuel sensor… and bingo!
It’s all wet.
There’s gasoline seeping in various places.
The fuel sensor gasket is all swollen.
At a shop like ours, we stock these, so we can move right along (‘ω’)ノ
I treat every part with respect and clean it thoroughly, hoping to prevent problems before they start.
To suppress gasoline and prevent areas from operating, I apply fluorine grease.
It should be subtly effective.
The Morikote I use is generally expensive, so AZ brand too should work fine (though I haven’t tried it).
You don’t often get a chance to look at the underside of the tank.
Here goes! I gave it a quick spray with my favorite Plexus to clean it up nicely ♪
After lunch, I check again and… it’s still seeping.
It’s coming through the wiring…
Looks like the generator area on the Z.
I’ll let it dry for a day before reassembling ( ；∀；)
