This is version 1 for now.
I decided to keep the shift lever tip as is for this round. It’s currently about 140 mm.
Moving it forward is easy—I can just grind down the boss and weld it.
What length are you all going for?
I’m making an ultra-aggressive chamfer cutter myself.
Anything over 0.3 mm feed rate and the chips go flying—it’s scary.
People actually notice the chamfer work, so everyone watch out for that.
I countersunk the M10 bolt side a bit.
The design is a tribute to a master—you might not recognize it.
This one gets a quick spray of gun coat.
I want the bolts to slide in smoothly, so I cleaned up the threads with a tap. (^_-)-☆
I also shortened the rod a bit. This should make shifting easier even with boots on.
The seat… hasn’t arrived yet.
I’m thinking maybe I’ll just finish it with a temporary seat for now.
