Deciding on the position of the upper cowl involves design considerations, but fundamentally it’s about avoiding problems down the road.
If I can install it with the stock stem, that’s pretty flexible.
Even if there’s an accident, peace of mind? The main key stays the same.
That’s the kind of thing I’m pondering, max(*^-^*)

I felt like I wouldn’t be satisfied unless I actually laid it out to see.
As they say, hindsight is 20/20.
I spent a whole day making a flexible upper cowl stay jig~(^_-)-☆
With the adjustment below, I can move it forward and backward.
Since it’s loose, the left-right tilt angle is also free.
Of course, I can check it with the upper cowl installed.
I removed the headlight and tightened it together. This lets me move it left and right.
If there’s no light, I should have adjusted it before…
Hindsight…
This one lets me move it up and down. Using the looseness here, I can also position the upper cowl left and right.
Fixing the upper cowl stay is definitely easier than making this.
Ninety percent is in the planning. Let me think through the strategy again.
