It’s tough to decide whether to spend money on a fix or not…
Part of me thinks it’d be easier to just replace everything, but that brings its own set of problems.
For now, I went with a band-clamp strategy to tighten it up with a spring pulling it back.
*Welding a hook onto the hose band turned out to be super finicky.
Since it’s a band clamp, you can adjust the spring length and tension to whatever you like.
I’ll admit part of the reason was that I didn’t feel like taking the muffler off.
*If it doesn’t stay tight, it’s a pain, you know?
