GPZ750 (F included) Inspection, Oil Change, Digital Temperature Sensor, Fluid Exchange and more

You often hear talk about the “motorcycle industry decline theory” these days, don’t you?

Manufacturer dealerships have become mega-sized and seem like pretty fierce competition zones.

As for neighborhood bike shops…

The number of motorcycle riders seems to be both decreasing and increasing
but the reality is that neighborhood bike shops themselves are disappearing, so there are fewer and fewer places that can do maintenance and repairs.

Recently, I came up with a new business model. How does an “engine oil specialty shop” that handles various engine oils and does exchanges and sales sound—pretty fresh, right?

I think you could do it with just 100 square feet or so, don’t you think?

Even in this heat, the digital temp gauge was reading 1 to 2 degrees.

I tried swapping the sensor for a different one, but it was still low…
I thought it might be the unit itself, so I disconnected the connector and removed the battery, then restarted it and it was fixed…

*It seems like a kind of reboot symptom. It hasn’t happened again, so let’s keep an eye on it.

If you hear panting around here, watch out. Suzuki 36618-43410 is a nicely sized option. (Requires cable ties though…)

The battery warning light was blinking… According to the manual, it should be 600-750Ω.
I tested it with a variable resistor for the tester, but there was no change.

I need to trace from the connector on the warning unit.

Since out of sight is out of mind, I hid it. (Temporary)

The terminal cover was straining, so I switched it to a side-opening type.

I set up the Qi charging to be linked with the main key.

I replaced the brake fluid with Golden Cruiser DOT4.

I replaced the engine oil and filter with Newtech NC50 10W-50.
