It broke off—that kind of situation. The customer said they’d be grateful if we could just get it working somehow, so we gave it a shot.
Here at Decoboco, we only have three titanium welding rods… with just a bit over two left.
Well, there’s not much else to do anyway, so…
It broke off from where it was hanging. Since various parts are already dented, we decided to go with a patch instead of hanging it again.
We cut out a patch from scrap material using tin snips.
Then we adjusted it with pliers to fit as snugly as possible.
We fudged it a bit, but here’s the patch in place.
The silencer side also broke off.
We welded carefully along the break line.
