COVID-19 infections are exploding! Tokyo is in trouble~
When I think back to the clear days we’ve had recently… and even just in this area
standing bars packed like before COVID
shops with lines packed together
even on walks everyone’s “no mask and packed together”
If this were in a busy shopping district there’d be way more~so it’s scary.
It’s more important to not get infected yourself than worry about others.
If we do that, maybe a kinder world will come~thoughtfully (ΦωΦ)
Since they said no blog is needed~I’ll just bomb you with the details.
The request is to move the Watani somewhere far away. There’s a nice nutter (POP nut) left over on the left side, so I’ll borrow from there.
As usual, I made the bracket with a sketchy-looking method.
By the way, it’s titanium (Grade 2).

I’ve tried various 3M Dual Lock products and ultimately settled on SJ-4570.
· Thin (even stacked it’s only 2.3mm)
· Easy to peel off (strong adhesive but doesn’t leave residue)
· Proper engagement feel (strong ones are hard to peel)

The seat lock cylinder being visible is uncool~kind of consultation…
And opening it with a key…I wondered if that’s really practical?
It gets lighter and easier to open~so I used the usual choke wire trick.
On the lock side I relocated it slightly with cut and weld due to wire free length issues. The bracket is titanium too, of course.
The knob is positioned where it’s not visible from the seat cowl, so it’s kind of racing-style.
I thought it might sell quietly~but what do you think?
The wire is temporary tension. The inspection is done, so I’ll get the registration certificate next week~
