Recently, I’ve changed my work approach a bit.
You might think “huh?” but…
“Get past the natural stopping point, push a little further, then take a break”
It’s honestly a winner for me.
When you stop at a natural breaking point,
don’t you get that “ugh, here we go again” feeling when moving on to the next task?
“Don’t read or reply to emails outside set times”—this works really well.
Parts are starting to arrive, so we’re moving forward!

I kept the front layout the same as the original. It looks pretty stock-standard and clean, doesn’t it?

On the master side, after some deliberation, I went with a 90-degree fitting.

Instead of using cable ties, I’m reusing the H2 OEM rubber grommet—it wraps gently and can be reused.
That’s pretty eco-friendly! Kawasaki 92173-1229, $1.60
Foreign bikes seem to have quite a variety of sizes available… I should look into it more.
*I forgot to order the nipple, so bleeding is on hold for now.

The unassuming but effective “Arcane Hands rubber brake hose”
It comes in various lengths, but the angle is fixed, so it takes a bit of fiddling… but it’s ideal for rubber brake hose enthusiasts.

That’s why layout gets tricky like this.
This time I added a banjo bolt with a washer and color, raised the hose up, and subtly adjusted the contact and layout angle.

The damper definitely needs to be replaced with a fresh one, so I made sure to do that.

Rear caliper side—now that I think about it, it’s routed through a tight space.

The rear master I managed to snag just before it was discontinued.
Since it’s just a straight swap, it’s a lifesaver!

Every time I think about it… Tokico is pretty bold, don’t you think?
Their design is incredibly free-spirited.
It’s full of that “use this space however you want” vibe.

I compared old and new just to be safe.
There are a lot more anti-rotation features added… I guess versatility was the priority.

I want to lubricate it when it’s new, and I’m also taking the opportunity to check the cup and piston.

I still wonder what that 43020-1019 was for…
Well, I guess it doesn’t matter… moving on.

CCI Metal Rubber applied and assembled.
Hoping it improves operation by even 1%.

Lubrication on the rod shaft too…

The bore size matches, so no worries there—just waiting on the nipple.
