Don’t you get a lot of calls like that?
Most of them say something like ○○○○ will “get cheaper.”
There are “expensive bad things,” but “cheap good things”… well, they do pop up occasionally, which is the problem.
*Maybe it’s not good because there are expensive bad things???
When that cost-cutting proposal is about “service,” you can’t make it happen without cutting something…
•Cut corners, or
•Reduce materials, or
•Cut labor costs.
Anyway, I digress… but I wonder if that kind of job is fulfilling… I’m sure it’s tough. Every time, I get emotionally invested.
The new seal (cup) has a nice firm “snap!” to how the umbrella stands up.
It’s pressed into the cylinder so there’s no helping that, but I think the contact will be solid.
I was asked to check the caliper condition and do an OH, but there were no particular issues, so we’re leaving it as is this time.
Before washing, but… it’s too clean… looks like it’s already been washed.
I replaced the bleeder nipple.
I replaced the coolant and fluid. There’s a bit more to come.
